Test Tamil and Telugu appointment calls with native-authored speech and authoritative booking records. A supported-language label does not prove that an agent understands a corrected name, resolves an ambiguous date or saves the intended appointment. Keep language quality and task correctness visible as separate judgments.

The native-review worksheet provides scenario intents, not purportedly validated Tamil or Telugu scripts. A qualified reviewer should author natural utterances and check local usage before the audio is used in a performance study.

Give reviewers the business context

Provide the supported services, locations, opening hours, booking policy, reference date and timezone. Explain which actions are permitted and when staff must handle the request. Reviewers cannot fairly judge a date or service choice without the same context the agent should receive.

Ask for ordinary local phrasing rather than a literal translation of an English prompt. Include code switching where it reflects the audience, such as an English service name inside a Tamil or Telugu request. Record the input's origin and whether it is read speech, synthesized speech or authorized handset audio.

Test corrections that affect the booking

Scenario intentWhat to verify
Caller corrects their nameFinal field and respectful confirmation
Caller changes day or timeCorrect date, AM/PM and timezone
Requested service is unavailableHonest alternative or staff route
Caller interrupts a long answerAgent yields and retains the correction
Background noise obscures a fieldClarification instead of a confident guess
Calendar write failsNo false booking confirmation

Do not treat a pleasant voice as evidence of task accuracy. Conversely, a pronunciation issue and a wrong appointment are different defects and should not be merged into one vague score.

Inspect the saved result

For each case, retain the intended final fields and compare them with the calendar event or appointment record. Check service, location, staff assignment, date, time and duplicate identity. A successful API response must be interpreted under the booking system's actual acceptance and conflict policy.

Test repeated requests and timeout recovery. A second fluent confirmation is still a failure if it creates a second appointment. Keep the previous booking intact when a reschedule fails, or follow the explicitly approved recovery procedure.

Record native-review decisions honestly

Use a reviewer rubric for comprehension, naturalness, pronunciation, clarification and task outcome. Record disagreements and adjudicate against audio and business policy. Maintain separate counts for each language, configuration and condition. Do not present a text-only scenario as proof of spoken performance.

Start with an authorized internal test and narrow task scope. Before a customer release, obtain domain review, native-speaker review and handset evidence. This article provides the evaluation method; it does not assert a measured Tamil or Telugu accuracy percentage or imply that VaniAgent has passed the listed cases.

Frequently asked questions

Are the Tamil and Telugu scenarios native-reviewed already?

No. The worksheet defines scenario intents for qualified reviewers to author and assess. It does not claim completed native validation.

Does a supported-language list prove booking quality?

No. Test the complete speech, decision and saved-calendar path for the actual language, task and configuration.

Why combine the two languages in one method guide?

The evaluation workflow is shared, while each language needs its own native-authored inputs and reported results. Separate thin pages would not add evidence.

See the parent guide, calling costs, or request a scoped demonstration. Examples and test resources are educational; verified provider configuration and measured customer results must be evaluated separately.
